A 1989 Toyota MR2. Again, one of the last mk1 models to come of the production line having begun in 1984. Their success was in part down to taking a revolutionary approach to the sports car ethic in Japan, prioritising handling over engine size with the help of Lotus who are the kings of such a thing. They were no more powerful than a sporty hatchback at the time but reduced weight meant that they were nimble as hell, with a supercharged model being introduced, eventually prompting another two generations of the model in later years.
