I'm always fascinated to see how nature deals with man-made industrial structures and locations long after manufacturing ends. This has to be one of the prettiest I've seen to date in the UK as it's barely touched at all by the modern world. As the brickworks continue to slowly disappear, we see more and more how the bay would have originally looked before operations began here, leaving it in a unique position between past and present. I highly recommend anyone put an hour or so to one side on their next trip to the island in order to truly appreciate this little gem of a place.
